helmsman,launch me

 

on the ocean of peace--

 

 

companion of my life,

 

give me refuge;

 

a light shines at the ocean-end,

 

it is the pole star!

 

saviour of my life,

 

grant me the food of grace and

forgiveness

 

as i journey forth.

 

may flesh-fetters break,

 

may more-than-flesh embrace me,

 

may i now know the 'great unknown'!

கலம் இயக்கியே !

 

நிம்மதிப் பெருங்கடலுள் எனைச் செலுத்து -

 

வாழ்வின் துணையே !

 

அடைக்கலம் அருள்வாய்;

 

மாக்கடல் எல்லையில் ஓர் சுடர் ஒளிர்கிறது-

 

அதுவே 'துருவ' தாரகை.

 

என்னுயிர்க் காவலே !

 

நான் பயணிக்கையில்

 

அருளையும் மன்னிப்பையும்
