The last rays of the sun have departed;

if you will not accept me before the world,

that loss i will bear with fortitude.

what my heart has to offer,

flows silently,unseen towards you.

the flowers that were hidden in the dark

fill my tray of offering.

the incense of worship have i lighted;

the earthen lamp that glimmered

is burning now with a bright flame.

before the world

if you will not accept my offering,

silently it will flow,unseen,towards you.

in my pain,it is your shadow that falls

softening the ache of parting.

your voice mingles with my songs.

the strains of the 'vinaa'

that did not play in your temple

நாளின் முடிவில்..

கதிரோனின் கடைசிக் கீற்றுகளும் விடைபெற்று விட்டன;

இவ்வுலகின் முன்பு நீ என்னை ஏற்காவிடின்

அவ்விழப்பைத் திண்மையுடன் தாங்கிக் கொள்வேன் .

என் இதயம் எதனை அளிக்க எண்ணுகிறதோ

அது உன்னை நோக்கி

அமைதியாய்ப் புலனாகாது பயணிக்கின்றது.

இருளில் மறைந்திருந்த மலர்கள்

எனது படையல் தட்டினை நிரப்பியுள்ளன.

வழிபாட்டிற்கு நறுமணங்களை ஏற்றிவிடுகிறேன்;

மண் விளக்குகளின் மங்கிய சுடர்கள்

இதோ ஓங்கி ஒளி உமிழ்கின்றன .

இவ்வுலகின் முன்பு

என் படையலை நீ ஏற்காது போயினும்

அது உன்னை நோக்கி

அமைதியாய்ப் புலனாகாது பயணிக்கும்.

என் வலிகளில் உனது நிழலே வீழ்ந்து

பிரிவு வேதனையை மென்மைப்படுத்துகிறது;

உனது குரல் எனது கீதங்களுடன் சங்கமிக்கின்றன;

உன் கோயிலில் மீட்டப்படாத

வீணையின் இசைக் கோலங்கள்

உன்னை நோக்கி அமைதியாய்ப் பயணிக்கின்றன.
